What we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. The categories below are exhaustive.
-
01
Contact data
When you email, message, or call us, we receive your name, email address or phone number, and the content of your message. We keep this for as long as we are working with you and for up to 36 months afterwards for tax and records purposes.
-
02
Audit data
To produce an audit, you grant us access to your website analytics, Search Console, and crawl data. We do not need or want customer-level personally identifiable information from your platform.
-
03
Technical data
Our hosting provider records your IP address, browser, device, and request times in standard server logs for security and abuse prevention. Logs are retained for up to 30 days.
-
04
Analytics and advertising data
If you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymised usage data through Google Analytics 4. If you accept advertising cookies, we share conversion events with Google Ads and Reddit Ads. Details, including cookie names and providers, are in the cookie policy.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
Every category above maps to one specific purpose and one legal basis under data protection law.

Complain to a regulator
If you live in the EEA or the UK, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; we honour Global Privacy Control signals.
How long we keep it, and where it lives
Retention is purpose-bound; international transfers happen only under appropriate safeguards.
-
01
Retention
Contact and audit data: for the duration of our engagement and for up to 36 months afterwards. Invoices and tax records: 7 years (or longer where required by local law). Server logs: 30 days. Cookie consent records: 12 months.
-
02
International transfers
Some of our processors (Google, Reddit, messaging providers) operate outside the EEA and the UK. Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and, where relevant, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
-
03
Security
We use TLS for all site traffic, strong passwords, two-factor authentication on critical accounts, and least-privilege access on the tools we use. No system is perfect; we will notify affected users without undue delay if a breach is likely to result in a risk to your rights.
Changes to this policy
If something material changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change, and we will tell active clients by email.
This is version 1.0 of the policy. For questions, write to szymon.kokot@illucrum.com.
